Established in 2023.

"Thunder Lightning Healing Rain" AKA Jarred Genaille is Cree, Salteaux and Anishnabe from Misipawistik Cree Nation, Lake St. Martin First Nation and Cowessess First Nation. Jarred currently resides on the  ancestral homelands of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Matsqui and Semiahmoo First Nations.​ Jarred was taught and mentored by 3x World Champion Hoop Dancer Dallas Arcand Sr. Jarred first started Hoop Dancing when he was 9 years old. He has attended the World Championship Hoop Dancing Competition in Phoenix, AZ 3 years in a row as a youth placing 5th, 3rd and 2nd. He has yet to return as an adult but hopes to in the next couple of years. Jarred has also performed at the Grandstand show 2 years in a row in his hometown on the Blackfoot Territory and represented the Calgary Stampede at Disney World in Orlando, Florida as a youth. Jarred travels to many different communities across Turtle Island.

Hoop Dancer, Storyteller and Workshop Facilitator

Jarred is the Founder and Owner of IndigiCree Hoop Dancing Co. When Jarred is not performing, sharing his story or teaching workshops you can find him in the gym, somewhere in the forest or at the hockey rink watching his son 7 Times Standing Strong playing ball or ice hockey.

"Morning Healing Mist" AKA Ana has Maya Indigenous roots from the Motagua River Valley and Eastern Guatemalan Highlands as well as Spanish and Portuguese roots from El Salvador. She is the manager of IndigiCree Hoop Dancing Co. She is completing her Phd in Education at UBC. Ana also has her own business called Maria Miranda Consulting.
