Thunder Lightening Healing Rain
Founder  & Owner

A few years ago, Jay had a vision to create his own business in hopes to inspire, motivate, teach and encourage our youth and the people within our communities to believe in themselves and to follow their dreams. Through his Hoop Dancing performances, he honours our animal relatives of the land and as a workshop facilitator he dedicates his time to teach the traditional art of Hoop Dancing. Being a Motivational Speaker/Storyteller, he talks about his journey of overcoming adversity, healing and sharing the courageous steps he has taken in achieving his goals. Jay lives a healthy and balanced lifestyle based on the Circle of Life. His 12-year old son named Jacob (7 Times Standing Strong) who is of mixed Indigenous and settler ancestry (Cree, Saulteaux, Anishnaabe, German & Ukrainian) is an avid Ice and Ball hockey player. He continues to be one of Jay’s biggest motivators in being a great Father, caring person and a successful businessman. Jacob is currently learning how to Hoop Dance, speak, drum and sing. Jay is creating the foundation for him to be able to succeed and reach his full potential, break those negative cycles and provide the opportunities he was never given as a child in order to carry on the legacy.
