INDIGICREE HOOP DANCING CO.
Jay has performed a few events for Britannia, including SHINE and Orange Shirt Day in Grandview Park! Jay shares his dance and stories through lived experiences and his amazing background story is so inspiring to listen to, it is no wonder he has become such an inspiration to younger dancers. We look forward to working with Jay again in 2025!

We are incredibly grateful for Jay’s contributions to our events, where he skillfully blended hoop dancing with cultural teachings and storytelling. At our Welcome Dinner, Jay introduced attendees to Indigenous culture, using his performance to engage and inspire. His presentation at the schools in Princeton further deepened students' understanding of hoop dancing’s cultural significance, offering a powerful lesson in heritage and tradition.
During the Youth Conference with grade 9 students, Jay’s breakout sessions went beyond teaching dance, as he shared the spiritual and cultural meaning behind each movement. Through his work, the students had so much FUN, leaving a lasting impact on all who participated. We look forward to working with him again in the future.

Jay's performance was very cool! Students and teachers were impressed by his talents during his assembly performances. Jay also ran hoop dancing workshops with very large groups of middle school students and they were engaged and interested.
